Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). The Information Technology Directorate is looking for a detail oriented Business Process Analyst II to join the Project Management Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Work together with IT Project Managers to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
- Deep dive into business processes, uncovering opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, understand and document business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable specifications for IT development teams.
- May coordinate or participate in project tasks, such as testing and end-user training.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and internal objectives to identify strategic opportunities and challenges.
- Champion best practices in requirements lifecycle management.
- May perform data entry and reporting.
- Perform other duties assigned by Management.
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2 years’ of professional level experience or equivalent training and experience.
- 5 years’ experience in IT project requirement life cycle management, to include but not limited to requirement gathering, traceability, and design is preferred.
- Highly desirable to have experience in a NNSS/MSTS IT PMO role and/or processes.
- Experience working in Microsoft Project Online, Service Now and Azure DevOps
- Experience building and editing custom workflows in Microsoft Visio.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, including data modeling and the creation of interactive dashboards and reports. (preferred)
- Experience working with SharePoint for document management and team collaboration.
- The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday (subject to change).
- Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’

Annual salary range for this position is: $63,856.00 - $95,784.00.
Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
