Summary
The Marketing & Sales Analyst provides valuable analysis and actionable insights that will be used to develop plans and playbooks aimed at driving sales growth and loyalty. The position is responsible for analyzing quantitative and qualitative sales and marketing data to identify trends, understand market and competitive dynamics. The role regularly presents/recommends actions to the product, sales, and marketing teams to capitalize on business opportunities. The position helps to develop measurable KPI metrics, supports strategic marketing initiatives, drives sales focused campaigns, and promotes selling opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor with assigned team(s), mainly product, marketing, sales, IT, and HR.
Leverage internal and external data sources to identify and develop account targeting plans that provide teams with clear, specific customer and prospect targets by product category/segment/market.
Develop ideal customer profiles and playbooks that identify campaign opportunities and strategies to capitalize on them.
Analyze product, competitive, channel and customer dynamics to uncover insights and recommend actions to guide business performance.
Explore, source, and recommend third-party data acquisition to assist the marketing and sales teams with market analytics, business case development, prospect identification and other opportunities.
Use Business Intelligence (BI) tools to develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics to track success of marketing and playbook, and campaign initiatives.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other tools to manage and analyze customer information for targeted marketing campaigns.
Identify opportunities to improve customer and prospect data collection via the CRM system.
Clear communication of information and actionable insights to cross-functional internal stakeholders.
Support other marketing and sales enablement efforts and projects as needed.
Analyze client feedback as it relates to the bank’s products and services and make recommendations for improvements.
Participate in company-wide data governance efforts to build and maintain a healthy data environment.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong IT capabilities and experience with sales, customer, CRM, reporting and financial data.
Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Self-motivated team player.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent analytical skills, attention detail & investigative skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time and problem solve.
Able to adapt to change while working in a regulated environment.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in business, analytics, or similar are preferred. MBA or master’s degree is helpful but not required.
