Department Coordinator Sr

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Department Coordinator Sr. for their Surgery department responsible for providing project management, coordinate timekeeping, and to administratively support and develop workflow process and systems for multiple departments and/or Department Director/s with minimal supervision and direction. Major accountabilities include:

• Serves as project manager for multiple initiatives including (but not limited to) strategic initiatives for capacity and throughput, tactical initiatives to maximize resources, and operational initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Provides oversite, input, and reconciliation of Kronos timekeeping, ensuring accuracy of records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. 

Education:

• Preferred: Associate’s degree.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum: Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills. Minimum 45 wpm keyboarding / typing speed.
• Preferred: Microsoft PowerPoint.

Years of Related Work Experience:

• Minimum: 3 years of related experience.
