The C2BMC Next Program, based in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a System Integration Engineer to install and configure Linux and Windows HW platforms from the Operating system   up to the C2BMC developed applications.

Your primary responsibilities will be to document and verify all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be delivered to the customer.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop installation scripts to automate the system installation.
  • Develop test plans/procedures for software integration test conduct be responsible for integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports.
  • Coordinate execution of SW integration tests to verify system operation.
  • Work with software developers as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software integration. Submit problem reports for errors found.
  • Responsible for implementing all Information Assurance directives on the systems to include running IA scans.
  • Task and coordinate daily integration activities with other local team members.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.
  • Experience with VMWare systems administration and installing.
  • Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system.
  • Experience with scripting and automation technologies and Git
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Command and control system application development - Previous experience with message translation software Automated test and pipeline development experience
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms for scheduling, task management, and tracking project progress.
  • Agile Methodology Expertise: Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, for iterative development and team collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Skilled in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure project success.
  • Requirements Management: Experience in decomposing, prioritizing, and managing technical and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
