We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Management Lead - Data Platform & Products, to lead the development and lifecycle of data platform capabilities and data-centric products. This role plays a pivotal part in transforming how airlines access, manage, and derive insights from their data. About the Business:

As a Product Management Lead in the Data Platform & Products team, you will own a portfolio of data products, APIs, and services used by airline customers to drive decision-making, operational performance, and digital innovation. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, shaping the roadmap, coordinating cross-functional execution, and ensuring that each product delivers measurable business value.

In this Role You’ll:

Strategic Leadership & Product Vision

  • Define and own the product strategy and vision in alignment with Navitaire's business goals and customer needs.

  • Translate high-level strategy into actionable product plans, setting and monitoring progress toward key objectives and metrics.

  • Drive co-innovation with customers, uncovering high-impact problems and translating them into validated product concepts, MVPs, and future enhancements.

Cross-functional Execution

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.

  • Collaborate with R&D, data engineering, data science, customer success, and business stakeholders to ensure product features are well-designed, technically feasible, and valuable.

  • Serve as a Product Owner where applicable, maximizing agile team output and ensuring delivery meets user needs and readiness guidelines.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to shape positioning and inform strategic choices.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to define compelling value propositions, business cases, and go-to-market messaging.

Customer-Centric Design

  • Ensure products solve validated customer problems and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Embed best practices in usability, observability, scalability, and data quality into the product design process.

  • Monitor product usage and feedback, using data to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive budget planning and resource capacity alignment with R&D.

  • Guide partnerships with third-party technology providers—defining joint roadmaps, shared requirements, and alignment activities.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and inspect/adapt cycles to improve execution quality and team alignment.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, data platform leadership, or similar roles with a strong track record of product delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of modern data architecture and technologies:

    • Cloud data platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS)

    • Data warehousing and lakes (Delta Lake, BigQuery, Snowflake)

    • Data processing tools (Apache Spark, dbt, Airflow)

    • Streaming/eventing (Kafka, Event Hubs)

  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and Lean methodologies.

  • Strong analytical thinking, with experience using KPIs, telemetry, and customer feedback to guide product evolution.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in the airline or travel technology space.

  • Ability to travel 10 %
