About the Role:
The Data Stewardship Manager will help empower our Business Unit, Finance, Analytics and Executives with trusted reporting, by reviewing and establishing the definition and logic of the key reporting metrics of the business, and driving reporting consistency across the company. This role will collaborate broadly with business unit to identify the key reporting metrics and partner with rest of CDO teams to establish and steward data across the reporting flow. Success in this role will require the growth mindset, the natural curiosity to learn, and the courage to challenge the status quo, as well as possess a unique blend of business acumen and data expertise. This individual will be viewed as the “go to person” for the source of truth of the key reporting metrics.
The role reports directly into the Head of Data Stewardship on CDO team, and offers an exciting opportunity to both learn and contribute within a growing environment, making a meaningful impact on our organization's data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own definition, reporting logic of KPIs across data products … be the go-to person to explain the definition, reporting flow, and data source for source of truth of KPIs
- Partner with data engineering team to establish the master dataset for Gen
- Drive reporting consistency … collaborate broadly across functions to understand the use case of the data and work with rest of CDO team to address the consistency across data products.
- Support executives and business functions for decision-making by data solution … identify the right metrics and set up reporting with rest of CDO team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency and 5+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries across large datasets.
- Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of business models to define key reporting metrics and establish reporting to solve key business questions.
- Results-driven: Candidate must have the ability to deliver results and possess a strong drive to exceed goals. Willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions.
- Strong collaboration across functions: ability to work with business, finance and analytics team to understand the business flow and identify the key reporting metrics, and rest of CDO teams to source the data and establish the reporting with governance flow.
- Proactive self-starter who thrives in a growing environment, with natural curiosity to learn and the courage to challenge the status quo.
Salary Ranges:
