Your Role

Working under limited supervision and in collaboration with other members of the Pathology team and colleagues in Research and Development, Operations, and Quality, the Staff Pathologist is a key contributor in driving Company product innovation, providing technical assessments of clinical and technical literature, offering inputs to business cases, and generally supporting the development of histopathology products. This position is also responsible for scoring and interpreting stained tissue slides in support of current and new product development, and will contribute to experimental designs to meet required IVD outputs. The Staff Pathologist also participates in tradeshows and seminars, collaborates with industry key leaders, and provides clinical and technical mentoring to staff with respect to the application of Company products.

 

Who You Are:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in the conduct and scoring of immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization (i.e. FISH), and other histopathology stains is required.
  • A university degree in a relevant life science discipline is required. An advanced degree in pathology or a related discipline is desired.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills focused on training and/or teaching various audiences are desired.
  • Knowledge of immunohistochemistry
  • Highly motivated and have the ability to work with limited supervision
