Cryoport Systems' proprietary Cryoport Express</span><span>®</span><span><span> </span>shippers, Cryoportal</span><span>®</span><span><span> </span>Logistics Management Platform, leading-edge Smartpak</span><span>™</span><span><span> </span>Condition Monitoring System and geo-sensing technology paired with unparalleled logistics expertise and 24/7/365 customer support, make Cryoport Systems the end-to-end temperature controlled supply chain partner that you can trust.</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Introduction</b></p><p>The Logistics Center Technician/Backup Driver reports to the Logistic Center Leads and will execute assigned warehouse operations and activities pertaining to asset receiving, cleaning, testing, inventory control, storage of Cryoport <span>temperature-controlled</span> shippers in accordance of IATA, TSA and DHS securities.</p><p><br/>Other responsibilities will be to process required documentation controls implemented by quality assurance and inventory management.</p><p></p><p>This position is full time, on-site with a rotating work schedule of Week 1: 8 AM – 5 PM, Week 2: 6 AM – 3 PM, Week 3: 8 AM – 5 PM, Week 4: 6 AM – 3 PM, etc.</p><p><br/><b>Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li><p>Process Inbound and outbound shipping cargo/assets</p></li><li><p>Practice TSA and cargo security processes</p></li><li><p>Maintain packaging inventory and assets</p></li><li><p>Responsible for inventory cycle counts for shipping and warehouse services</p></li><li><p>Daily Inventory inspection and count</p></li><li><p>Process cryo-portal orders and shipment compliance</p></li><li><p>Ensure all IATA and TSA package compliance</p></li><li><p>Manage SOPs and work instructions for assigned warehouse activities</p></li><li><p>Ensure all safety practices and warehouse controls are followed daily</p></li><li><p>Practice safely operating mechanical equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and handcart</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Competencies:</b></p><ul><li><p>Results-driven, attention to detail, process-oriented.</p></li><li><p>Ability to meet deadlines consistently</p></li><li><p>Ability to confidently operate personal computer</p></li><li><p>Ability to read supply requisition forms and perform basic arithmetic</p></li><li><p>Ability to operate LN2 tank and refills</p></li><li><p>Ability to ship domestic and International cargo</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of either cGMP, GDP, Six Sigma or Kanban would be a plus</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform under stressful conditions</p></li><li><p>Willingness to embrace personal and professional development continually.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements and Educational background: </b></p><ul><li><p>Start times are rotational: Week 1: 8 AM – 5 PM, Week 2: 6 AM – 3 PM, Week 3: 8 AM – 5 PM, Week 4: 6 AM – 3 PM, etc.</p></li><li><p>B2 level in English at minimum, required</p></li><li><p>Secondary school diploma or equivalent</p></li><li><p>Ability to lift/carry up to 23 kg</p></li><li><p>Frequent physical activity, i.e., walking, lifting, standing, cleaning, counting, etc.</p></li><li><p>Proficient computer skills, specifically with Chrome/Edge and Microsoft Office Suite</p></li><li><p>Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment</p></li><li><p>Prior experience with pick/pack, ship, receive deliveries and inventory control procedure, preferred</p></li><li><p>Prior working experience as a Delivery Driver</p></li><li><p>Valid driver’s license</p></li><li><p>Good driving record with no traffic violations</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, Lean Six Sigma or SS, and Kanban, a plus</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Benefits: Pension scheme, vacation allowance</b></p><p></p><p><b>For information about Cryoport, please visit www.cryoport.com</b></p>
