 Job Summary:
Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of an Ice Cream Team Leader for our Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Shop located in Bossier City, LA.  The Ice Cream Team Leader is responsible for assisting with the production of all the ice cream sold in the scoop shop, and catering events as well as working directly with the Hero’s in the shop.  The Team Leader will directly assist the Scoop Manager in day-to-day operations.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities
·         Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and three compartment sinks 
·         Ensure quality ice cream is being made 
·         Store ice cream in correct containers 
·         Adhere to food safety standard 
·         Closely follow recipes 
·         Closely follow all ice cream production schedules
·         Performs all other duties as requested by the Scoop Shop Manager
·         Retail and Restaurant experience
·         Experience in a food preparation environment 
·         Willingness to learn a new skill 

Qualifications:
·         Previous restaurant experience
·         Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license
 
Education: 
·         High School or GED
·         Food Handlers Certificate
 
Work Environment:
·         Must be able to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
 
Physical Demands:
·         Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs, 2/3’s of the time
