OverviewThe Director, HR Technology is responsible for overall management, strategic roadmap design, implementation, communication, compliance, configuration, and ongoing administration of the primary HRIS system and associated satellite HR systems that enable global HR to deliver core services to the business.

Scope of This Role

  • Project Cheetah 
  • Ongoing HXM administration post go-live

Responsibilities

  • Project Cheetah to support business optimization, including process re-engineering, data-cleansing and implementation of SAP success factors (various modules) that will modernize and transform how HR works and integrate seamlessly with other corporate functions.
  • Technical expert for ongoing HXM administration, including all integrations, current and future, to ensure we are maximizing and fully leveraging the capabilities of all HR systems and reduce manual administrative workload and build efficient, effective and scalable processes
  • Central point of contact, coordinating with HR COEs, TS and PX, EIT and Operations to ensure HXM systems support the full scope of HR core services on a BAU basis.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure configuration and integrations are efficient, compliant, and accurate
  • Review and control access to all HR systems and associated data within. 
  • Control integrations between systems to ensure downstream processes are working as designed. 
  • Pursue continuous improvement in business processes, integration, automation, and user experience
  • Role model of Nielson values and lead the day-to-day work of the HRIS team

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of payroll and complete knowledge of human resources practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 15 years of related work experience; 10 in the HRIS space.
  • Effective communication, organization, training and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Confidentiality and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and direct the work of others, including direct reports.
  • Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an organized manner.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $100,000  -$300,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location.  The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
