Position Summary:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Manager will support the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) in the execution and advancement of SkyWater’s Enterprise Risk Management program. This position will liaise with the Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors for ERM governance. This individual will be responsible for implementing and managing SkyWater’s ERM framework and related processes across the organization. The role plays a critical part in enhancing SkyWater’s risk culture and maintaining proactive risk oversight mechanisms aligned with SkyWater’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
• Maintain and update SkyWater’s enterprise risk register.
• Support quarterly risk assessments with ELT, including survey coordination, trend analysis, and heat map updates.
• Liaise with executive risk owners to track mitigation efforts and monitor response effectiveness.
• Prepare and deliver ERM reports and materials to the Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors.
• Facilitate annual risk deep dive in connection with SkyWater’s Form 10-K risk factor review.
• Integrate SkyWater’s enterprise risk program into the strategic planning cycle.
• Drive improvements in risk mitigation strategies, including the coordination, documentation, and review of related controls.
• Coordinate with control owners and compliance functions to assess and improve control maturity as part of risk management processes.
• Promote control self-assessment practices across departments.
• Coordinate with external advisors or consultants on risk and control matters to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of efforts.
• Support management reviews of business activities (e.g., supplier management, third-party risk, training programs, operational process effectiveness) in a risk management context, to enhance risk visibility and process improvement.
Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Experience and Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise risk management or related areas.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional risk initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
Experience and Skills:
• Relevant certifications (CRM, CIA, CRMA, CPA, CCEP, or similar)
