Food Service Worker (PT, 16 Hours/Biweekly - Rotating) - TJUH

Job Details

Essential Functions
• Shifts can start as early as 5:30am and end as late as 8:45pm
• Will be cross trained to be sceduled in various assignments
• Weekends and some holidays required
• Assembles food: Patient Trays, Individual Portions and Food Displays in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment. Stocks food and supplies.
• Completes ware-washing/sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and service work areas, serving areas, and equipment and removes garbage, trash and grease from the department areas.
• Regular, punctual attendance, Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Job Description

Educational/Training Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent or 3 years’ experience required

Must be able to read, write and comprehend written assignments

Experience Requirements:

1-3 years of previous food service experience.
