Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 3pm until Finish (schedule subject to change in busy Season).

Position Summary:

Select and feed raw materials to the production areas.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates with Production Management the raw materials needs of production.
• Obtains required product and delivers product to appropriate production area.
• Inspects product for concealed or regular damage; make sure pallet quality and type is up to standard.
• Verifies correct product is being delivered to the correct production room.
• Transfers product from Receiving areas to various warehouse staging areas.
• Ensures proper rotation of product.
• Maintains a clean, neat and safe work area, including disposal of packaging and cartons, sweeping, storage of extra material and clean up of supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Must be proficient in the operation of forklifts, cherry picker and reach truck.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment requiring constant walking, ascending/descending stairs or pallet jack platform, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage).
• Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.  
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.  
• Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment ( including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.  
• Ability  to operate powered industrial vehicle (PIV)

Equipment / Tools / Technology:

• Must be able to understand and operate the basic functions of a Radio Frequency handheld computer.
• Forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, cherry picker and reach truck
• Shrink wrap/stretch wrap equipment 
• Box cutter
• Personal computer
• Internet, email, and other applications

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• High School / Equivalent
• Forklift certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained during employment

​Minimum Years of Experience:

• At least 2 years of forklift, cherry picker and reach truck experience required.
