Position Responsibilities:
Perform complete surface finishing of machined parts to meet specified quality standards.
Assemble precision aircraft parts and assemblies, including landing gear struts, fueling equipment, control linkages, actuators, and gear box assemblies, following established procedures and methods.
Conduct functional checks of precision assemblies, diagnosing and correcting any detected malfunctions.
Install hardware and fittings such as nuts, bolts, brackets, and bushings as required.
Execute tasks including drilling, sawing, back spot facing, shot-peening, hand honing, and cold working, with or without templates, jigs, or fixtures.
Interpret blueprints, assembly pages, specification books, and verbal instructions to guide work assignments.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure that all work meets quality requirements.
Perform rework and modifications as necessary, maintaining the same level of complexity as described in the duties.
Remove and replace parts and assemblies as required.
Drill, ream, fit, rivet, file, stake, and tap to accomplish assigned tasks.
Communicate and adhere to all quality processes and procedures.
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Torque bolts, nuts, and fittings as needed.
Adjust and fit details and gears to meet operational requirements.
Use computing and manual systems to determine the order of work to be performed and update systems as required.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:
1+ years experience in setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators
1+ years experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
1+ years experience reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints
