Salary: $110k + per year, Depending on Experience

Volare Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team at our Lakeshore Manor skilled nursing facility in Slidell , LA. Job Functions:

• Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall functions for the clinical department.
• Assist in developing a preliminary and comprehensive assessment and written care plan for each resident.
• Developing departmental budget for equipment, supplies, and labor.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Directing and motivating staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:​

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• BSN preferred.
• 3+ years skilled nursing supervisory experience is preferred but will consider supervisory experience from hospital or other health care setting.
• Knowledge of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing, medical practices and procedures, and governing laws, regulations, and guidelines in long-term care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, at all levels within the organization, and with the community.
