Grainger Management LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering or related field plus 2 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Develop clean, efficient and scalable REST APIs using Java, Reactive programming, Spring framework, NodeJS and MongoDB; Writing automated unit, integration, and performance tests for the APIs using Junit, Mockito, MockMVC, JMeter, Scala; Strive for Operational Excellence using Grafana and Splunk dashboards, Cloudwatch alarms, resolve production issues and defects both at application and infrastructure level; Participate in design discussions for high-end feature rollouts alongside significant exposure to Agile practices; Use continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Bitbucket, and GitHub and IDEs like IntelliJ, Eclipse.
