OnsiteThis position is for a Senior Quality Engineering professional who will serve as an individual contributor, driving key objectives that significantly impact the area of responsibility. The role may involve managing quality engineering processes and projects. Leveraging extensive experience and expertise, the individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the development, modification, application, and maintenance of quality evaluation systems, control frameworks, and protocols.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.
- Provide analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
- Analyze and recommend corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems in internally produced products and processes.
- Utilize PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in product development.
- Manage processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
- Review process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products.
- Work with product design and specification, and devise plans, methods, and equipment to ensure the reliability of the product. Must collaborate internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
- Ensure that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
- Identify and manage risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.).
- Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
- Perform Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action for design problems for internally produced products & processes.
- Design and implement product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers.
- Responsible for both Program and Product Quality Engineering.
- Responsible for the development of new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- 6+ years of engineering support in a manufacturing environment.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
- GD&T knowledge.
- APQP/PPAP awareness.
- RCCA experience
