ARSIEM is looking for a Software Engineer/Developer to join a Prototype Development team. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD. 

Responsibilities

• Use leading-edge technologies, including Java MapReduce, to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources, as well as classic SIGINT for standard presentation systems throughout the enterprise to support missions throughout the world covering a variety of subjects. 
• Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.  
• Evaluate and work with new leading-edge platforms, frameworks and technologies, working directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.  

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 4 years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline may be substituted for four years of general experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java/Pig MapReduce is desired.
• Knowledge of Network topologies and databases is desired.
• Experience with customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.
• Experience with Maven and Git.
• Work in a team environment.
• Java, Pig, Python, MapReduce, Maven, Git, Jira.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role?
