Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Program Manager (CNPM) is focused on the overall nursing quality strategy to impact MGB quality goals guided by the high reliability framework. CNPM is able to articulate the concepts of a high reliability organization (HRO) and participate in all aspects of the HRO culture, including collaborating with local and MGB team members. Promotes evidenced-based practice, advances a nursing culture of safety and fosters a psychologically safe environment. Identifies and works to mitigate risks. Embedded in clinical areas, the CNPM will audit and monitor practices, process measures, & provide feedback for accountability, to improve quality patient outcomes.Responsible for managing and coordinating specific clinical programs or services. This position involves overseeing nursing staff, implementing program initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing required and Master's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required
Experience
- Recent clinical experience (Medical-Surgical nursing and/or Critical Care) with a background in program management 5-7 years required
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with a focus on achieving positive patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
- Familiarity with budget management and financial principles in healthcare.
