We are now looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our skilled team. The preferred location for the position is in Budaörs, Hungary.
What will you be doing?
As a Service Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Executing planned maintenance and repairing jobs on Wärtsilä OEM engines and its auxiliaries according to Wärtsilä instructions
- Performing maintenance and repair jobs in relation to other Wärtsilä products
- Using and maintaining shop and field tools in accordance with good mechanical-work practices
- Maintaining the quality and efficiency of mechanical work performed (as measured by warranty costs) in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications & ISO procedures
- Ensure customer satisfaction with job performance and positive interactions with customers
- Fulfil tasks given by the Field Service Team Leader
You will shine in this role when you have:
- Minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years of experience in working with gas and/or diesel engines (repairs / maintenance)
- B. Sc. or M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Technical school (preferably Mechanical)
- Good level of English and fluent Hungarian
- Readiness to travel a minimum of 150 days a year
