Job Summary: 

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team as a Clinical Research Coordinator/LPN based in Manhattan, NY! This role involves managing clinical trials in collaboration with the investigative team. IV experience is essential. Salary range for this position is $30-$40 an hour based on licensure and experience.

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate clinical trials following FDA requirements and GCP guidelines as per sponsor protocols. 
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain a comprehensive understanding of each clinical research study's protocols and procedures. 
  • Stay informed about study requirements and apply relevant regulations accurately. 
  • Communicate effectively with clinical research sponsors, CROs, monitors CRAs, IRBs, laboratories, and other research personnel. 
  • Advise Investigators and staff on necessary protocols and procedures for successful study implementation and completion. 
  • Promptly notify Investigators and monitors of any adverse events as per protocol. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation following ALCOA principles, including data entry, signature, and dating of necessary documents. 
  • Display flexibility by assuming additional responsibilities and working flexible hours as required.

  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with the public, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), CRIO (preferred), and research-related databases.
  • Capability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and multitask effectively.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
  • Professionalism in addressing sensitive issues. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • License Practical Nurse (LPN) license required; bachelor’s degree preferred (consideration given to significant experience without a bachelor's). 
  • One year of Clinical Research experience is preferred. 
  • Clinical Research Coordinator certification (CCRC) is preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization skills. 
  • Additional language proficiency encouraged.
