Associate Director, Investor Solutions

Purpose and Job Summary

ORIX USA seeks to recruit an Investor Solutions Associate Director to be based in New York to support the firm’s continued growth in private credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure.  This person will help with all investor relations responsibilities across private markets strategies, including the creation of marketing collateral for each investment team, responding to prospective investor inquiries, and assisting with product development initiatives. The professional should have an interest in developing a solid level of understanding of ORIX's investment activities across its capital solution strategies and support capital raising efforts across these strategies (private equity, credit, real estate).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities                                         

• Marketing Materials and RFPs: Work with investment teams and compliance to create and maintain marketing collateral, including tear sheets, presentations, due diligence questionnaires and RFPs and maintain data rooms.

• Assist with capital raising efforts, including preparation for and participation in prospective investor meetings and creating responses and collateral to prospective investor inquiries

• Participate in product development initiatives across private credit and real estate teams

• Administer data room access, maintenance and updates

• Assist with ad hoc client reporting projects as needed

• Work collaboratively within the investor solutions team and across the broader organization in a manner that is consistent with the firm’s culture

• Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers

• Other projects and duties as assigned

Education, Skills & Experience

Required

• Minimum 5 years in similar investor relations, private fund placement, or investment banking

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, prior CRM usage preferred

• Excellent academic credentials are required

• Strong financial and analytical skills.

• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.

• High level of professionalism and maturity with an ability to interact and build relationships with people of differing levels of seniority, both within the firm and externally

• A spirit of collaboration and partnership that is central to ORIX’s culture and success

• Ability to work independently and to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic setting

• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; Ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities

Annual base salary gross: $150,000 - $175,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX USA’s salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA's total compensation package for employees.
