The Job:  

As a Director of North America Supply Planning, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to:   

• Lead process improvement and systems projects to improve efficiency, support business development and improve OTIF & Fill Rate to customers. 
• Provides regular updates to business unit leaders, interacting with multiple cross functional business. 
• Develop and Align Growth Strategies for NA Tools and Outdoor.
• Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive supply planning process. 
• Aligns daily, weekly, and monthly processes with business planning vision and roadmap.
• Directly responsible for managing and leading a specific portion of the NA supply planning team. 
• Business owner responsible for ensuring customer supply chain metrics are met while supporting sales and marketing. 
• Develops talent and retention strategies within the supply planning team. 

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or another related field. MBA preferred. 
• 9+ years’ experience in a senior Purchasing, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations role. 
• 2+ years of management experience leading Supply Chain Functional Teams or Customer teams. 
• Advanced training or certifications in Purchasing or Materials Management, preferred. 
• A strong candidate will have knowledge of business processes related to purchasing, customer service, sales forecasting, and operational planning in addition to demonstrated management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
• Those who apply should have a proven track record in building and streamlining business systems and processes utilizing an ERP system. 
• Experience leading a large team. 
• Expert PC skills (MS Office, SAP, JDA/Manugistics, Access, Excel, etc.)
