Basic Function:

Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations Lead, the Finished Product Packer is responsible for timely and proper packaging of final product and maintaining a clean workspace.

 

Essential Functions:

These areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to:

• Working safely, following all plant rules, reporting all near misses and unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Monitoring equipment condition and communicating any deficiencies to supervisor.
• Packing 25kg (55lbs.) bags, boxes and drums.
• Operating forklift.
• Operating packing, milling, and grinding equipment.
• Completing pack-out sheets; preparing samples for pre-ship.
• Managing material to and from warehouses.
• Knowing the difference in products.
• Knowing how to pack boxes/drums/bags and verify quantity.
• Knowing how to label products/packing.
• Identifying different pallets for products.
• Understand the importance of keeping contamination and foreign objects out of the customer product/packing.
• Completes any and all other duties, as required or assigned.

• Frequent lifting (34 - 66% of the day)
• Constant standing (66 – 100% of the day)
• Frequent overhead reaching (34 - 66% of the day)
