Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Youth Athletic Sponsorship Intern to join our team and assist in developing and managing local athletic sponsorships. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, sponsorship negotiation, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn about the intricacies of local marketing. 

Key Responsibilities:

Research: Evaluate and identify markets that need additional marketing support from localized marketing and youth athletic sponsorships. Conduct thorough research on local athletic events, teams, and organizations to identify potential sponsorship opportunities. 

Negotiation: Collaborate with the marketing team to negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutual benefit for all parties involved.

Activation Support: Support the activation of sponsorship agreements by coordinating promotional activities, brand integration, and event presence.

Tracking and Analysis: Track sponsorship performance metrics and assist in analyzing the effectiveness of sponsorship investments.

Administrative Tasks: Provide administ rative support as needed, including managing sponsorship contracts, invoices, and correspondence.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Passion for sports and understanding of local athletic culture.
