THE JOB:

At Red Plate, where authentic Cantonese cuisine meets modern inspiration, Food Servers are at the heart of delivering an unforgettable dining experience. As a Food Server, you’ll take and deliver orders with precision, maintain table settings to perfection, and ensure guest satisfaction at every step. From finalizing checks to performing side work and keeping stations spotless, your role is integral to the seamless flow of our dining room, all while leaving every guest with a lasting impression through exceptional service.

THE STARTING RATE: $17.5629 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages

• Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach

• Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment

• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point-of-Sale (POS) stations

• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 5+ years of prior food and beverage experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience

• Three years of experience in fine dining establishments

• Background in Asian/ Cantonese restaurant is preferred

• Knowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

• Experience working in a similar resort setting

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
