This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
- Maintain database and records of batch corrections. Perform monthly corrections data trend analysis.
- Use inventory systems (CAMBAR, AMAPS) to adjust inventory and perform batch re-release.
- Perform, coordinate and verify batch segregation and Quality Hold. Maintain database and executes verification of onsite destruct and reconciliation of off-site destructs.
- Coordinate batch samplings, sampling or re-processing following Deviation, Investigation and/or Batch Work Order requirements.
- Assist and backup Coordinator of Customer Complaints. Train new employees as needed.
- Coordinate, pull, and ship library samples to division per required schedule.
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Thorough knowledge of the manufacturing process including Analytical, Processing, Filling and familiarity with FDA and IFA regulations.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.
- QA experience with a minimum of two years in the Quality Organization.
