Senior Software Engineer

That is why every day we strive to create a collaborative and inclusive working environment where our people can feel empowered to succeed.</p> <p> </p> <p>One Identity is an award-winning IT management software provider offering a broad selection of solutions that solve some of the most common and most challenging IT problems. </p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated <strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong> to join the One Identity Cloud team to ensure our products are delivered with high quality and meets customer expectations. </p> <p>You will collaborate with other technical staff to deliver consistently reliable hosted, SaaS solutions that support our users. </p> <p> </p> <p>We offer both remote and hybrid working models in Hungary.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Managing test cases; defining test scenarios, preconditions, test steps, expected results, test prioritization, and risk assessment.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Execution of automated and manual test cases to validate release candidates, release execution processes, and released software and platform changes.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Coding of automated tests that perform test cases which evaluate expected results against actual results.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Working in an agile scrum process; refine requirements, assess effort, test development and execution, documentation and reporting, perform demos, and retrospectives.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Close cooperation with a globally distributed team of developers, testers, architects, escalation engineers and platform engineers which may necessitate occasional flexibility to accommodate overlap time. </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Structured and logical approach to software quality with the ability to learn, and think creatively to solve issues </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience programming with Python &amp; JavaScript - PyTest and Playwright. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Well versed in REST API endpoint testing </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiar with Azure Pipelines – integration and regression automation </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with web Ul testing, browser compatibility testing, understanding of UX principles and usability testing </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools such as TestRail, Jira, &amp; Azure DevOps </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to utilize a version control system (Git) to manage source code </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Good team collaboration skills with a pragmatic and positive attitude </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Previous experience (5+ years) in an enterprise software quality assurance field utilizing test automation frameworks and methodologies </li> </ul> <p>  </p> <p><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) functionality and technologies </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience using Azure DevOps working with features, work items, bugs, tasks, etc. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with Active Directory </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Entra ID </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledgeable of testing tools and frameworks; Playwright &amp; PyTest </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience on SQL and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) would be a plus. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to test a variety of installed software such as browser extensions and Windows applications </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Previous experience with performance/load testing </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of synthetic testing via Datadog </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience validating application and data security &amp; compliance </li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and/or 5+ years of equivalent experience</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Company Description  </strong></p> <p>One Identity enables organizations of all sizes to better secure, manage, monitor, protect, and analyze information and infrastructure to help fuel innovation and drive their businesses forward.
