Franke, a global leader in kitchen solutions, is seeking a proactive individual to join us as a Health & Safety Leader across our warehouses and distribution centers in Germany, Italy, or Poland. As a Health & Safety Leader you will execute the H&S plan that focus on implementation, training, coaching, assessing and create improvements plan in regard to H&S in order to eliminate risks/hazard to achieve our ambition of Zero Accident. This role offers the flexibility to choose your base: Germany, Italy, or Poland. The role for Italy is located in Peschiera del Garda. Your tasks

•    Lead Global Maturity Assessment assigned to the function.
•    Lead and be proactive in Risk Assessment program deployment.
•    Ensure H&S standards compliance within the warehouse’s organization
•    Be a role model for Franke values in the Operations community.
•    Be a strong ambassador for the Safety culture change and coordinate Franke Safety Standard deployment.
•    Support the roadmap to implement H&S standards and policy,
•    Stops operations and activities that could harm employees or equipment.
•    Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
•    Participate to the definition, roles, and objectives of H&S Pillars,
•    Propose and lead the validation process for new (or update) SOP to be deployed globally.
•    Participate to the definition of major OPI and KPI
•    Support actively warehouses by implementing training and coaching on applicable safety standards and methodology.
•    Reviews and support accident/incident/near miss reports through the root cause analysis and, actions implementation follow-up.
•    Develop and reviews health and safety training, recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.
•    Implement regular assessments to evaluate progresses in line with the roadmap.
•    Organize and promote sharing of best practices.

 

Requirements

•    Past operation experience as WHS Leader or Plant Manager (min 5 years)
•    Bachelor’s degree in health & safety, or related discipline preferred.
•    At least five years of occupational health and safety experience in a logistics or industrial environment certified ISO 45001 (18001) is required.
•    High school diploma or equivalent 
•    Ability to travel throughout facility as required to conduct safety inspections.
•    Knowledge of MS office pack especially PPT, DOC and XLS
•    English – Fluent, any other European language is a plus
•    Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to conduct training and to coach the teams.
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Conflict management and problem-solving skills
•    Mobility: min 60%
