Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist

WWC Global is seeking a full-time, remote Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist with a strong attention to detail. The Billing/AR Specialist will be part of a collaborative team, applying principles of accounting and assisting the Accounting Team in day-to-day functions supporting operations for multiple legal entities.
Duties included but may not be limited to:
- Participate in contract kick-off and monthly contract meetings.
- Read and decipher contract documents to determine the invoicing requirements of contracts. Identify areas needing clarification from Project Managers, Contracts, and external Government customers.
- Prepare and submit Government contract and commercial invoices, including required backup invoicing schedules.
- Prepare contract closeout billings and collaborate with Contracts, Program Management Office and Project Finance teams to ensure completeness.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to identify and research invoicing issues, including customer rejections and short paid invoices, then provide guidance and resolution, as appropriate.
- Conduct collection activity and resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts
- Support internal, external and government audits as required.
Expected hourly range $21.00 - $23.50

- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Travel

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with government contract invoicing with any government approve accounting system.
- Experience submitting invoices on customer systems such as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), Maryland Procurement Office Electronic Commerce (MPO) or other government invoice processing system.
- Understanding of Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials and Cost-Plus billing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
