YOUR ROLE
Responsible for performing emergency and predictive preventative maintenance procedures on electromechanical conveyor systems by providing the technical expertise to diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical and control system failures. Conduct routine and periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of machinery and equipment. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Perform emergency and predictive maintenance procedures on electro mechanical conveyor systems.
- Responsible for maintenance and calibration of microprocessor based control equipment, general instrumentation and electrical control systems to carry out first line diagnostic, troubleshooting and maintenance work.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical and control system failures using technical expertise and accepted diagnostic procedures, tests, calibration equipment and instrumentation including CRT terminals.
- Conduct routine and periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of machinery and equipment.
- Manage tasks, projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Assist in facility maintenance as needed.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience as an electro mechanical technician.
- Associate in Arts Degree in Electro Mechanical or other relevant technical disciplines preferred or Associate in Science Degree in Electro Mechanical or other relevant technical disciplines; or equivalent certification and training, i.e. military training and certification.
- Minimum 2 years industry experience.
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Technician certification.
