Position Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Director for Academics, Global Programs, operationalize global program academic strategies and operations, including registration support and implementation of academic policies for the global study away sites, and ongoing instructional time monitoring for the Assistant Vice President for Global Academic Planning and leadership in the Office of Global Programs. Supervise two remote full-time Program Administrators. Communicate departmental priorities including through emails, meetings, websites, as well as oversee event planning and execution. Develop and maintain relationships with administrators across schools and departments.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Master's Degree equivalent orRequired Experience:5+ years relevant experience including implementing administrative activities and advising students or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Experience:7+ yearsRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Proven excellence in organizational, planning, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to independently interpret policies and procedures, and communicate effectively, both in verbal and writing, to a diverse population at all levels. Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of budgeting and various software applications including CMS and student information systems.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to manage databases and provide data driven insights. Language proficiency in one or more languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese or Czech. Ability to manage budgets and databases and provide data driven insights.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,500.00 to USD $93,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
