The F119 Customer Support Engineer for the Systems  group will provide day to day field troubleshooting for the engine, provide support for onboard engine software by developing requirements for implementation, perform Maintenance Awareness, modify engine manuals, and much more.  The position works closely with F119 bases, USAF representatives, partnering companies and many internal customers.

What You Will Do:

• Provide technical support, develop requirements, coordinate field releases for F119-related support systems, including Engine Test Cell, Engine Interface Unit, Engine Control Monitor, and onboard engine software.
• Author and update F119 EMS Guide
• Responsible for all on-condition field issues involving engine systems or multiple engine modules and assist with troubleshooting new and complex issues; document and record issues for reference
• POC for all F119 engine support systems, acquire and disseminate lessons learned with USAF and other P&W engine programs and coordinate support system integration issues with Lockheed Martin and Boeing

Qualifications You Must Have:             

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university w/minimum 8+ years of experience OR advanced degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university w/minimum 5+ years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

         

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Skilled communicator with an ability to maintain productive relationships in difficult situations
• Good analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision
• Familiarity with engine systems and software
• Experience with continuous process improvement

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
