Job Details

The Returns Area Technician is responsible for all orders that enter the Returns area.  The Returns Technician will need to have a good understanding of Coreflex, Guardian, inventory locations and maintain a focus on inventory accuracy.  This technician will be responsible for all medications that enter and exit the Returns Area.  The Returns Technician will have to work closely with the Inventory team, Shipping team, Sr. Director of Purchasing, and SVP Pharmacy Ops to ensure accurate medications and inventory are properly returned or destroyed. The Returns technician will also work closely with the Pharmacists to ensure all recovered medications are accurate.  The returns technician also handles the recording of all medications that need destruction or are lost in transit.

Responsibilities

  • Processing of all orders that enter the Returns Area.

  • Ensuring all orders in the Returns Area have the correct order status in Guardian.

  • Ensuring medications are correctly returned to the production floor.

  • Recording of all inventory increments and decrements.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders.

  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years of age. High school diploma /GED required.

  • Prior pharmacy technician experience required.

  • Registered with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy required.

  • Ability to work a full-time position.
