How you will make an impact

As a Senior Manager in Data & Analytics, you will play a key role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of data initiatives at Arla Foods Ingredients. You will lead a team of six specialists and report to the Head of IT.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team to drive innovation and deliver business value
• Bridge technical capabilities with business needs to drive effective decision-making
• Build a scalable, future-ready data ecosystem with a clear strategic roadmap
• Oversee the project portfolio and program management to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Stay ahead of emerging trends, including AI/ML advancements, to drive continuous innovation

In addition, you will enhance cross-functional collaboration by working closely with central IT and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and operations. You will oversee project delivery, financial performance, and impact tracking while ensuring a clear and transparent stakeholder communication.
 

What will make you successful

We imagine that the successful candidate has a MSc or equivalent within IT, data management, business economics or related, combined with extensive experience in data and analytics leadership and a proven track record from large enterprises. The right candidate is further an experienced people manager, passionate about people development, fostering learning and promoting a data-driven culture across the organization. 

We are looking for a colleague who possesses the following competencies:

• Proven leadership in driving data initiatives and fostering organizational development
• Strong program management skills, ensuring strategic alignment and on-time project delivery
• Extensive experience in overseeing data ecosystems, IT architecture, and cloud technologies from a strategic leadership perspective
• Exceptional stakeholder management, effectively communicating complex concepts to business leaders and aligning expectations
• Expertise in budget management, ROI evaluation, and cost-efficiency strategies

The role requires occasional travel to AFI sites, approximately 10-15 days annually.
