Job Summary:

The TUG Program Coordinator role at the Fermanian School of Business (FSB) provides essential administrative and logistical support under the direction of the Deans and Director of Operations to enhance the academic experience for Traditional Undergraduate Students at PLNU. Key responsibilities include student and faculty, operations, event, administrative and customer service support.


Location: Point Loma Campus and other campus locations as needed

Salary:
Pay range $21.00 - $22.00
Actual salary offered is determined by the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and other factors, including internal equity and university funding resources.

This position is anticipated Mid-July - December 2026

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Student & Faculty Support

  • Provide all program support, including study abroad courses, and collect and analyze program data.

  • Coordinate and administer TUG student exit exams.

  • Provide advising support for TUG students and faculty, including managing the waitlist during registration and communicating with students.

  • Support for student clubs (Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Investments, International Development, Entrepreneurship).

  • Function as the liaison between textbook publishers and all FSB Faculty, including ordering textbooks as requested.

  • Oversee hiring and employment of FSB student workers, including the tracking of student worker hours for budgeting purposes, approving student timecards, and communicating with both faculty and students to coordinate student workers. 

  • Assist faculty in preparing and submitting their Professional Development expense reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with university policies.

  • Receive and process Scantron exams, producing grade and performance reports for faculty.

  • Assist with TUG student academic advising.

  • Provide FSB Faculty support as required.

FSB Operations

  • Audit TUG syllabi each semester to ensure proper university compliance.

  • Manage and oversee scheduling of the FSB classrooms and event spaces for all events, meetings, and other uses (other than PLNU courses), including ensuring proper care of all spaces.

  • Perform weekly maintenance checks and complete all necessary repair requests relating to building upkeep.

  • Manage and regularly update social media, including slideshow, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Assist with program budgets to ensure that expenditures are within budgetary allocation.

  • Support assessment process across programs and facilitate data collection as needed.

  • Online course monitoring support across programs.

Event Support

  • Provide support for logistical planning and organization in the execution of all events and activities, including student and faculty events, career services events and activities, FSB chapels, Welcome Week, Preview Days and conferences hosted by the FSB.

  • Order meals for FSB meetings and events on the main campus, as approved.

  • Organize “Faculty Funday” (one fall lunch & one spring lunch).

  • Faculty support, training and development (support new activities in the FSB to develop a strong collegial culture).

  • Support the Faculty Delta Mu Delta (DMD) representatives and coordinate the DMD process including annual reporting.
