The Senior Accountant will be a key member of our growing global Accounting team and will report to the Controller. This role offers significant growth and learning potential and the opportunity to work in a hyper-growth SaaS company that is private equity backed (Vista Equity Partners). Major responsibilities include driving the monthly close process and helping support the financial reporting process for management and shareholders. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for driving automation and efficiency within the accounting function and contribute to various projects throughout the organization. Central or Eastern time zones in the US highly preferred.

The Senior Accountant will be a key member of our growing global Accounting team and will report to the Controller. Major responsibilities include driving the monthly close process and helping support the financial reporting process for management and shareholders. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for driving automation and efficiency within the accounting function and contribute to various projects throughout the organization. What You Will Do
- Prepare work papers and month-end reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts to support financial reporting.
- Provide accounting expertise and review revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606.
- Review & approve payroll process, including commissions, bonuses and other payroll items.
- Manage a globally dispersed team and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage accounting in various countries. This includes full-time employees as well as outsourced providers.
- Thought leadership in implementation and maintenance of new accounting standards as they arise.
- Engage with financial statement audits by providing information and leading discussions with our auditors. Help to manage statutory audits.
- Support and manage the employee expense process.
- Assist in compliance activities (payroll tax filing assistance, sales tax filings, etc).
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or actively sitting for the CPA exam required.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. 1-2 years experience as a Senior Accountant is a plus.
- SAAS accounting experience required.
- ASC 606 experience required.
- Experience managing accounting globally.
- Experience managing or leading/coaching/mentoring a global team.
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks Online Advanced; NetSuite preferred.
- High proficiency in MS Excel required.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with outsourced, statutory accountants and experience in other jurisdictions is a plus.
