Summary:
Under the supervision of the Sr. Director, the Director of Migrant Relocation Program [AP1] is responsible for the coordination of activities involving the planning, designing, and implementation of the OTDA Migrant Relocation Assistance Program (MRAP) for families referred by the NYC Department of Homeless Services to the Rochester area. The MRAP Director will secure collaborative agreements with community-based organizations, local government agencies and other community stakeholders to ensure families have secure, safe, sanitary, and affordable living quarters and financial to meet immediate and material needs.

· Reports to the Sr. Director.
· Lead community forums, meetings, events, and other activities that respond to needs of migrants relocating to the Albany County
area and advance project prosocial goals.
· Work with internal and external resources to ensure collaboration across various migrant funded programs in the region.
· Lead, engage and manage relationships / collaboration with programs aiming to support migrant relocation to our area.
· Maintain accurate and organized project records and files.
· Responsible for all required state reporting and grant management activities.
· Lead all implementation activities, provide oversight to the entire project.
· Must become knowledgeable of all relevant state guidelines and ensure compliance with OTDA, ONA and other programs related
to migrant relocation, following protocol, policies and procedures.
· Identify additional partners who may contribute to the overall success of the project; must leverage the project and its resources
for maximum impact.
· Oversee outreach strategy development; participate or lead where appropriate. Must have a strong willingness to engage in
community – getting out of the office to meet people, explore community assets, and strategize in the field over challenges facing
migrants relocating to our area.
· Responsible for the supervision and development of the Migrant Relocation Assistance Coordinator and Housing Coordinator.
· Some evenings and weekends are required.
· Represent Ibero in meetings, and any other community related activities.
· Any other duties assigned deemed pertinent by Ibero-American Action League’s President & CEO or designee.
Authority:
This position holds a relatively high degree of independence within the framework of the agency’s policies and procedures. The individual must be resourceful and able to display initiative and understanding of management systems and interpersonal relations. Must keep immediate supervisor abreast of issues and concerns which merit intervention from higher level management staff.

Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising others and leading program services.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience leading implementation of projects.
