Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Mid-level Project Management Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to support the Business Operations team in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:
Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
Program/Project Manager supporting a major Boeing Salt Lake product line such as the Composite Horizontal or Vertical Stabilizer Fabrication and Assembly, Metals Flight Deck Structures Fabrication and Assembly, Overwing Exit Doors Fabrication and Assembly, Paint Operations, or new strategic work.
Lead and integrate Boeing Salt Lake cross-functional teams to ensure work transfer execution, rate readiness, risk identification and mitigation, and product line performance improvements and execution.
Utilize project management tools/processes to support ad hoc studies and implementations in support of company directives and initiatives.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role
3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership
3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
1+ years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree
CAPM or PMP Certified or experience with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management processes
Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions in a manufacturing environment
Prior or current experience in Business Operations and/or Project Management Organizations
