Disney Entertainment Television is seeking an Executive Assistant who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As an Executive Assistant, you will materially impact the productivity and efficiency of the Network Comedy team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual capable of consistently achieving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
The Executive Assistant provides support to the Vice President of Network Comedy and Director of Comedy by proactively managing and organizing heavy calendar scheduling, phone lines, and booking travel arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manages smooth operations of the executives’ calendar, record-keeping, and office, being mindful of deadlines and priorities
- Organizes heavy calendar scheduling, facilitates heavy email and phone correspondence
- Submits expense reports, purchasing requests for supplies
- Organize contact lists of writers, producers, creative executives and any related correspondence as needed
- Compose correspondence as needed; write synopsis and loglines of episodes for weekly, widely distributed report
- Read and watch material and provide feedback as necessary
- Provide additional support to other executives and department as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of previous administrative assistant experience in a high-volume entertainment desk at a studio, network, production company or talent agency
- Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage smooth operations of the executives’ calendars and offices, being mindful of deadlines and priorities
- Knowledge of agencies and networks
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work overtime with short notice
- Must work well under pressure
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have a passion for television and the desire for a career in comedy
- Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, AirTable, and Google Drive
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
