About the Role

Loads, unloads, and/or moves materials within or near plant, or work site by performing the following duties.

Pay rate starts at $22.37 and increases annually on work anniversary (Base pay $21.37 + $1 for 2nd shift)

Hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-655am with possible OT when needing to cover call in or vacation for other material handlers

Your Responsibilities

 

1. Loads, unloads, and/or moves materials within or near plant, or work site by performing the following duties
2. Hilo trained, and will obey plant and federal hilo/tugger laws.
3. Able to obtain a powered industrial truck license.
4. Must be aware of environment when driving hilo/tugger.  EX: water on floor, pedestrians walking in aisleways.
5. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Opens containers.
6. Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves by hand, with hilo/tugger or latter.
7. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
8. Counts, scans, weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled.
9. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers.
10. Verifies all labels and tags.
11. Participates in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
12. Completes operator check sheets on hilo/tugger and keeps hilo/tugger clean.
13. Performs housekeeping activities.
14. Perform all duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

Who we are looking for

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2. Industrial shipping/warehouse experience preferred.

1. Ability to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, part descriptions and operation instruction sheets.
2. Able to write routine production reports, tags and labels.
3. Hilo permit.
