About you

Colliers Engineering & Property is looking for a HVAC Technician, if you’re a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, whether it’s responding to an emergency request, working through light construction projects or conducting regular inspections.

In this role you will:

• Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems/maintenance, energy management systems and other building mechanical equipment.

• A valid driver’s license

• knowledge in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)

• Universal EPA refrigeration license

• Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems

• Flexibility in work schedule - available for off-hours emergency response

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Boiler license or ability to acquire

What you'll bring

• You coordinate and complete system and building repairs and preventative maintenance requirements in a timely manner

• Your customers are pleased in how you respond to and complete work orders and projects

Approximate Hourly Range for this Role: $19.00/hour to $21.00/hour

Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually.  Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off.  Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and four weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.
