Operations covers areas including technical operations, manufacturing, product supply, service logistics, and facilities. The people are what truly makes this an amazing org. Pure Storage is seeking a Commodity Analyst to work in our Operations team. This role will support key business units, including Engineering, Finance, and Operations, by focusing on direct spend activities and assisting in the development of commodity sourcing strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING... 

• Assist with supplier relationship management, supporting day-to-day communications and tracking performance metrics.
• Conduct cost analyses and compile data to identify and propose cost-saving opportunities.
• Help prepare and present cost savings proposals to management and internal customers.
• Coordinate and facilitate supplier meetings, including technical roadmaps and quarterly business reviews.
• Support sourcing strategies by assisting with contract documentation, supplier agreements, and negotiations related to payment terms, delivery terms, and lead times.
• Maintain awareness of commodity market conditions, including pricing trends, supply/demand challenges, and supplier performance.
• Contribute to strategic sourcing plans and supplier optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient procurement processes and smooth operations.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM...

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Commodity Management.
• Experience working with ERP & MRP systems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Process-oriented and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Knowledge of the data storage market or high-tech industry is a plus.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $96,000- $145,000

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
