Job Title: Manager, Sponsored Partners

Department: Customer & Community Success

About the Role:

The primary goal of the Sponsored Partners team is to successfully convince affiliate customers to implement Unite Us. This helps the company to successfully deliver on our contractual obligations under high revenue umbrella contracts. The secondary goal of the Sponsored Partners team is to generate new revenue by upselling affiliate customers.

This role of Manager, Sponsored Partners is responsible for the ongoing relationship management with entities whose paid participation in a Unite Us network is sponsored by a paying customer. This includes all phases of the relationship, both pre-and post- contract: trust building, contracting, onboarding, ongoing relationship management, upsells.

This role sits on the Market Success Team, within the larger Customer & Community Success Department (CCS). CCS is made up of 1) regionally-based teams who hold local relationships and are accountable for execution of local contracts, and 2) the Market Success Team, who provides matrixed support and subject matter expertise to ensure regional teams are able to effectively execute on customer contracts across a variety of specific market verticals. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring successful onboarding of existing sponsored customers
    • Establish and standardize sustainable processes and best practices to support increased demand for services
      • Support development of best practices and processes to scale Sponsored Partners approach and execute on that process simultaneously
  • Generate new revenue by upselling existing affiliate customers
      • Create, execute on and memorialize best practices to generate revenue from sponsored customers by identifying and following-through on upsell opportunities
  • Create seamless cross-functional relationships
    • Build internal relationships with Implementation and Customer and Community Success team members in order to successfully lead customers through the strategy, design, project plan development, and implementation, and go-live of a Coordinated Care Network from end-to-end
    • Liaise and coordinate with Unite Us Networks team to ensure that Customer Network Deliverables and Expectations are being met

What’s Required:

  • 4 years experience in Account Management/Customer Success/Sales preferred
  • A natural relationship builder - you empathize with others and gain others’ trust
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – you’re an active listener who can break down complex ideas and tailor your message to a specific audience
  • Exceptional facilitator - you can bring groups of people together around a common vision, build consensus, and delegate concrete and actionable steps
  • Big picture thinker - you have a vision and help your team execute it
  • Successfully managed multiple complex projects and implementations with poise and confidence
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and change successfully to generate positive outcomes

Environmental Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • This position includes 20% travel
  • The target pay range for this role is: $80,000-$85,000. This salary range represents our national target range for this role. Some geographic areas may have higher target ranges.
