We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team remotely. As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a critical role in empowering patients to achieve their health goals through personalized nutrition counseling and education. This position focuses on providing patient-centered care in collaboration with our clinicians, health coaches, and other healthcare professionals.
Position: RemoteSchedule: Full Time Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling (mix of patient contact hours plus administrative time).

Requirements:
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) license in MA with willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested by KnownWell. Must be registered with the Commission onboard Dietetic Registration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
- At least 2 years of clinical or counseling experience, preferably in primary care, metabolic health, or weight management.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You’re dedicated to staying current with the latest developments in primary care and obesity medicine.
- You believe in inclusive, compassionate care.
- You believe in shared decision making with a patient. You honor the goals a patient has for their health, and you partner with them to help them achieve those goals.
- You have high emotional intelligence and know how to make a patient feel at ease – without judgment and without shame.
- You’re willing and excited to try new technologies that are both patient and provider oriented.
- You are excited to work with a collaborative team of physicians, APC’s, nurses, medical assistants, health coaches, pharmacists, and other staff.
- High-speed internet and phone access to support a fully remote practice.
Responsibilities:
- Practice exceptional medical nutrition therapy and counseling within knownwell
- Patient Care and Counseling:
- Provide individual and group nutrition counseling tailored to patient goals, cultural preferences, and medical needs.
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans, incorporating evidence-based guidelines for primary and metabolic health.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, dietary choices, and behavior changes to support chronic condition management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with health coaches and other care team members to reinforce consistent messaging and holistic care strategies.
- Patient Education:
- Deliver patient-centered education on dietary guidelines, meal planning, and sustainable health practices.
- Support patients in understanding and engaging in recommended lifestyle changes to improve outcomes.
- Address patient concerns and questions in an accessible and supportive manner.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
- Work closely with physicians, APCs, medical assistants, and health coaches to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions to contribute insights on patient progress and nutrition-related challenges.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurateand timelydocumentation of patient interactions, care plans, and recommendations in the EHR system.
- Adhere to clinical policies, HIPAA regulations, and standards of care.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to process improvements.
- Professional Development:
- Stay current with developments in nutrition science, primary care, and metabolic health.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Stay current with licensure and appropriate re-certifications
