Role Summary
Reporting to the IIS Therapeutic Team Lead, the Insights Lead will be a key source of intellectual insight on commercial brand strategy. They will generate primary insights, integrate with secondary and other data sources, and synthesize them to actionable insights and recommendations to deliver on ambitious goals. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record of high-value brand consultancy, responsible for framing problems and executing solutions for challenging business situations. They will have an in-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, with a keen understanding of output and high-quality, timely insight derivation. Their team orientation and collaborative approach, along with their outstanding listening skills and ability to manage through influence, will enable their exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity to shine. Their sophisticated executive demeanor and comfort functioning with senior brand leaders along with their excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities, will drive their success to influence and drive change at all levels in the organization.
Role Responsibilities
Primary Insight Generation: Designing and executing best-in-class primary market research to represent the “voice of the customer” and delivering strategic recommendations to the cross functional brand team. This person will be accountable for a >$3M global market research budget, creating learning plans to address business questions, managing multiple simultaneous research initiatives, and delivering clear and actionable insights-based recommendations.
Strategic Problem Solving: Proactively identifying business questions and frame solutions in a way that can be executed to drive impact and unlock value. Specifically, identifying and developing opportunities to maximize brand value and to advise the business on drivers of short- and long-term transformational change.
Relationship Building & Collaboration: IIS develops and foster strategic relationships with GCA and business partners, to lead and inspire excellence. IIS leverages these relationships along with their exceptional intellectual curiosity and deep and broad functional and therapeutic expertise, to navigate the GCA organization and their proprietary tools to harness insights and solve business challenges, ultimately developing trust and earning a seat at the table.
Influence & Storytelling: Effectively communicates complex ideas and proposals with a compelling, easy to understand narrative, supported by data driven insights. Ability to navigate a large complex, matrixed organization to identify decision makers and ensure alignment on goals. Encourages collaboration, anticipates barriers and negotiates mutually beneficial solutions across stakeholders to persuade and drive change.
Basic requirements:
BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or similar related field required; MS or MBA preferred.
6+ years in consulting, finance or market analytics
In-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, including primary and secondary data, with a keen understanding of output and quality/timely insight derivation
Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity, a creative visionary who can foster innovation
Proven track record of being an indispensable thought partner to brand leaders and influencing without authority to drive change
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment using outstanding listening skills
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas effectively, in a compelling way that enables easy decision making
Refined executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at high levels of organizations; excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Work Location Assignment: Must be able to work in assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentiApply for this role
