The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence expert to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need an Intel Analyst like you to do just that. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your industry knowledge to design, analyze, develop, and disseminate solutions within comprehensive intelligence products in support of our government's missions and processes. We are seeking your advisory skills to join the financial intelligence team to help deliver creative solutions to complex problems. As a Financial Intelligence Expert, you will bring your analytical skills, critical thinking, and investigative knowledge as we uncover schemes and scenarios that will provide historical conclusions as well as model future events and correlations. You will work with a development team to use emerging technologies, including data science, database querying, and automated workflows to process metadata and content for discovery purposes.

On our team, you will help develop models with advanced analytics and methodologies, such as qualitative and quantitative metric analysis to uncover patterns within complex multi-variable data. You will provide the client with support for the planning and implementation of financial intelligence and operational frameworks. You will use critical, information-based research and analysis to relay findings to decision-makers. You will work closely with a team of trusted advisors who share knowledge and findings including the development of intelligence products, operational tradecraft, specialized training, open-source research, and technical data analysis that drive change. Collect, analyze, and deliver intelligence information that keeps people safe for our government's financial intelligence team.

You Have:  

• 10+ years of experience with intelligence analysis

• Experience with cyber intelligence gathering tools to produce sophisticated analyses and conduct blockchain analytics

• Experience with developing training materials for a diverse set of stakeholders in effective strategies for countering money laundering and threat financing enabled by cyber and emerging threats 

• Experience with financial intelligence

• Knowledge of money laundering, threat financing, and cyber investigation

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with blockchain analytical tools, including Chainanalysis or TRM Labs

• Experience with FinCEN Query 

• Knowledge of illicit financial typologies 

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Possession of excellent briefing and critical thinking skills

• Top Secret clearance

• Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD).
