The Associate Desktop Engineer - Windows OS role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
- Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
- Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Desired Experiences
- Experience determining causes of Windows operating system errors and taking corrective action
- Monitoring and managing operating systems (OS), and staying current on patches, upgrades, and other elements of the OS
- Deploying desktop cloud infrastructure
- Applying & setting up GPOs
- Familiar with Active Directory functionality
- Hands-on knowledge of MS Azure highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting
- Recommending tools to be used for cloud environments, physical devices, and implementing tools that have been approved
- Experience with SCCM, Intune, Jamf, or other leading device and deployment management experience
- Writing and maintaining documentation of relevant operating procedures and processes
- Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively toward a common goal
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance
- Familiarity with the Microsoft office toolset (Teams, Excel, etc.)
- Experience using JIRA
- Knowledge of end user computing security tools such as McAfee, Carbon Black, Illumio, etc.
