Personal Assisant Wholesale Banking Risk (MBB-1)

We are looking for a committed Personal Assistant reporting to the Head of Wholesale Banking Risk (MBB-1)

The Team

Wholesale Banking Risk (‘WB Risk’) is one of the central risk domains reporting to the Group CRO and is responsible for adequate and effective risk management within Wholesale Banking. Head of Wholesale Banking Risk is part of the CRO MT as well as a member of the WB MT.
 

The Head WB Risk is responsible for the implementation of Group Risk standards and frameworks in the Wholesale Banking network and includes the reporting lines of CROs of WB network locations/countries. 

You will work directly with the Head of WB Risk (located in Amsterdam), the WB Risk Management Team and his Business Support staff and establish a solid professional relationship to their key stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilites

• In your role as Personal Assistant, you will support the Head of WB Risk.
• Your main responsibilities will be to manage the complex agenda, looking ahead and making sure the manager is prepared seamlessly in a variety of day-to-day activities. These include meetings, both in the office and remote, business travels etc.
• Aside from general administrative activities, you act as the central point of contact for internal teams and external contacts within the network and are expected to create a strong and positive team environment.
• Issue reminder for appointments and follow-up actions
• Respond to queries, arrange for the Head of WB Risk to respond to queries or forward queries to the appropriate person in the organisation
• Provide organisational, logistical, general and technical support in relation to business travel, meetings, media, conferences, seminars, receptions and anniversaries
• Organise offsites and townhalls
• Take care of administrative handling of new staff/transfers/leavers, claiming expenses, IBuy/E-Profit in accordance with existing compliance rules

How to succeed

• You are an experienced Personal Assistant with a minimum of 5 years’ of work experience in a secretarial/supporting role
• You are able to set priorities and integrate tasks effectively
• You have a high attention to detail, solve problems and are result-driven
• You are flexible, loyal and pro-active
• You are capable of working in a dynamic and complex international environment
• You maintain high standards across multiple geographies and cultures, with sensitivity for cultural differences
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch
• You master the most commonly used office programs/applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internal systems (e.g. Workday, IBuy/E-Profit) and are willing to learn new ones if required
• You embody our Orange Code
• Having experience in or strong affinity with Wholesale Banking/Risk environment is a plus

Due to the sensitive nature of this position you will be subjected to a screening (CSI).
