Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior-Level Intelligence Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to be an integral part of a team performing modeling and simulation of defensive weapon systems of peer/near-peer adversaries. The principal focus will be on surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems comprising RF sensors; target acquisition and tracking; 6-DOF missile flyout, command, and seeker endgame; network-centric warfare techniques; command-and-control (C2/C4); and advanced RF techniques.

The analyst in the role will work projects related to planning, analysis, and integration of activities in support of strategic modeling and simulation analysis for the purpose of examining the effectiveness of US weapons systems against validated, postulated, and extrapolated adversary threats. Tasking will include planning, executing, and standing up of intelligence community validated modeling and simulation architectures and associated software within classified areas to enable the integration of US weapon systems models into representative threat environments. Other activities include assisting applicable program offices with the integration of US weapon system models into appropriate model and simulation architecture for analysis to analyze and assess both US and foreign weapon system data. The incumbent will integrate into the Parsons C4 and M&S team and work closely with government stakeholders and appropriate Parsons Task Leads to coordinate requirements, design, and testing of solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform research and data analysis of foreign weapon systems, policies, doctrine, employment, etc. for the purpose of developing plausible scenarios for modeling and simulation analysis

  • Examine available intelligence information for contradictory and/or complimentary technical details on model performance and compare to standard intelligence reporting

  • Document discrepancies for the purpose of detailing the necessary changes to the IC modeling community and assist in the implementation of updates to models and scenarios

  • Produce program tailored intelligence products based on key stakeholder and Senior Program Manager Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and Key Intelligence Questions (KIQs)

  • Develop and document plausible threat laydown scenarios and build baseline files within applicable model and simulation frameworks; work with applicable military organizations and IC agencies to validate targets and threat laydowns

  • Perform all-source analysis of foreign weapon systems and military capabilities to include, when possible, the exploitation of foreign material by working with multiple stakeholders in the intelligence community and DoD to plan, execute, and document studies

  • Analyze simulation results to determine capabilities and limitations of threat performance

  • Document and/or brief complex study results to a wide range of clients

  • Develop expertise integrating aggregate model and simulation architectures

Required Clearance:

  • Candidate must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and be willing/able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of professional experience OR Master's Degree and 1+ years of professional experience (12+ years of relevant experience working on defense-related operations, analysis, or application of computer simulations to analytical problems can be considered in lieu of degree)

  • Ability to work independently or in teams, as requirements dictate
